We'd been having this sort of problem for a while now, and frankly it's been making me rather frustrated.
The rule "DO NOT SUBMIT TO FEATURED" applies for contributors and members alike, and you also may not submit a favorite to Featured. Just don't do it unless your aim is to get booted out of the group.
I understand that you may want to see art in the Featured folder, and I have taken this into consideration. Please send me a note with a link to the art you wish to suggest; however, it may not be your own. From there, Josie and I will decide to put it in Featured or not. Thank you.
I do apologize for the empty Featured folder, but it's merely that way because I haven't finished cleaning out the other folders yet. Soon, though, you will be seeing art in the folder. Maybe in a day or two.

I've looked at our settings in the admin area again. The submissions to featured aren't allowed, but I guess deviantArt is being poopy and not cooperating with me.

Hello, members!
I sincerely apologize for the long period of inactivity in this group. Life outside of the digital world has it's priorities, and they've been piling up and up and up, and I've been getting busier and busier and busier.
I'm aware that some people thought that the group was dead. Well, I suppose, perhaps for a while? But have no fear; we're back!
A few members have already brought a few issues to mind; the fractal folder, among others, is full, etc., etc. I'm going to create a duplicate that you guys can post your fractals in.
Meanwhile, I've opened up some positions for new admins. Even though I'm back, this group, unfortu
welcoming moderators.
We will soon be welcoming Moderators into the group! If anyone wishes to join as a moderator, please note me and explain why.
Moderators are expected to be active, at least upload something (anything) or do something (comment, vote) twice a month. This is to prove that you're alive. Each moderator will be expected to clean out and organize the folders, and to report spam, repeat offenders, broken rules, etc.

General Submission Rules and Group Rules:
-Make sure you submit to the correct category folder, otherwise your submission will be declined or deleted. Feel free to contact an admin on which category you should submit to if you have any difficulties choosing one. If you repeatedly submit to the incorrect folder, you will eventually be kicked out and/or blocked. The first and second offense recieve warnings, the third offense will get you kicked out.
-If for some reason your submission does get declined or deleted, please take no offense, but do not submit it again in the same category, as it was declined for a reason. If you are curious as

You may have noticed that recently, I'd removed all of the contributors and placed them with the members. This is not because I don't like you, so please take this as no offense, thank you. It's only been done because many of the contributors hadn't recently* posted something, and I just want to make sure that everyone who is a contributor will be posting things on a regulated basis, like how, for example, mr.blahblahpoopsy contributes often, so he will be placed back into the contributors section.
I would just like you to comment here to notify me if:
a) you submit artwork here often and would like to be listed as

It should be possible to disable submission to the featured folder (I know that other groups do so) thus the rule would no longer be required.
